DDOT BUYS 2017

On September 26, 2017, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) and the DC Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) held the District's first DDOT Buys: Reverse Trade Fair. DDOT Buys is an opportunity to connect architecture, engineering, construction firms and other potential businesses with program managers from DDOT and other agencies involved in the District's contracting process. Breakout sessions provided businesses the tools and information they need to compete for contracts to work with DDOT.
 
DDOT BUYS 2017 included:
 
Break Out Session 1: Compliance in Contracting
Representatives from some of DDOT's partner agencies discussed the District's contract compliance requirements including Certified Business Enterprises, tax compliance with the DC Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR), the District's First Source Program with the DC Department of Employment Services (DOES).
 

Break Out Session 2: Doing Business with DDOT
DDOT's Chief Information Officer (CIO) demonstrated how businesses can register to receive solicitations for contracting opportunities through the District Transportation Access Portal (DTAP). DDOT contracting officers will also take questions and provde an overview of the procurement process.
