Director James D. Staton, Jr. will represent the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) at an exclusive training and development program designed for state government officials.
The National Association of State Chief Administrators’ (NASCA) 2014 Institute on Management and Leadership, is a two-day event in Santa Fe, New Mexico, led by the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Government. The Institute brings together private sector partners and state government administrators to develop new tools for success in state government.
Director Staton will present to attendees the strategic role of procurement officers during large scale management transitions. As a member of NASPO’s board of directors, Director Staton is uniquely positioned to share the organization’s views and approaches to proper procurement planning during periods of change.
