(WASHINGTON) – The DC Office of Contracting and Procurement is hosting its annual DC Buys Reverse Vendor Trade Fair on Friday, June 14, 2019 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
DC Buys provides a unique opportunity for local and regional vendors to directly engage the District’s program managers and procurement personnel. Vendors will have the opportunity to market goods and services, share capability statements, and learn of upcoming District government procurement opportunities directly from representatives who make purchasing decisions on behalf of their specific District government agencies.
DC Buys is a prime opportunity for vendors to maximize their marketing efforts. Any vendors interested in doing business with the District are encouraged to attend. No appointments are required, and all represented District government agencies will be in a single location.

ABOUT THE DC OFFICE OF CONTRACTING & PROCUREMENT (OCP)
The DC Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP), under the direction of the Chief Procurement Officer, was established by DC law in 1997 and provides contracting services for 78 agencies and offices in the District. The mission of OCP is to partner with vendors and District agencies to purchase quality goods and services in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost while ensuring that all purchasing actions are conducted fairly and impartially. OCP manages the purchase of $5.2 billion in goods, services and construction annually, on behalf of over 78 District agencies.
