OCP Offers Vendor Training Across the District

The Office of Contracting and Procurement continues to promote its “Supplier Solutions Series” that began on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at our 2010 Vendor Appreciation Day event!

The “Supplier Solutions Series” is an outreach campaign of workshops that are offered in collaboration with various business and community organizations to teach current and new vendors the new requirements to compete for contracting opportunities from the Government of the District of Columbia. As the District moves from paper-based responses to electronic sourcing for opportunities, the vendor benefits of these outreach sessions are to:

  1. Learn how to register to be on the bidder’s list;
  2. Learn how to access solicitations via the Ariba web application;
  3. Learn how to respond to a solicitation; and
  4. Learn how to be notified of contract award.

Individuals interested in attending a workshop, please complete the reservation form available at the http://app.ocp.dc.gov/roundtable/roundtable_registration.asp. Please Note: SPACE IS LIMITED & PRE-REGISTRAION IS HIGHLY ADVISED.
