The Office of Contracting and Procurement will participate in the Mid Atlantic Purchasing Team's Green Purchasing Vendor Fair on January 29, 2015 from 9 AM - 4 PM. OCP's Sustainable Purchasing Coordinator, Jonathan Rifkin, will participate on the panel, "Green Contract Language and Specifications."

The Vendor Fair, co-sponsored by the purchasing teams of the Baltimore Metropolitan Council and MWCOG, is designed to showcase sustainable products and services for local government purchasing officials in the Baltimore-Washington Region.  The event will provide opportunities for government officials to engage with vendors, and will also feature a panel of speakers who will discuss ways to identify quality environmentally preferable products and how to develop sustainable contract language. Participation in the event will offer vendors exposure to local government and school officials in the Baltimore-Washington region.
